Eighteen

Sometimes I forget to share
my pages that are published.
I hold off blogging them just in case and
then it just slips my mind.

This one however is in this months
Scrapbooking Memories and I remembered
cause I want to show Jazzy.

My beautiful neice Jasmine was 18 lase
July and this is one of my fave
pics of her.
Love these natural photos.

My background page is
Amy Tangerine.
I've done a little stencilingand
stamping, but most
of the page is done with My Minds Eye
Pretty Things 6x6 paper pad
and Record it (their version of
Project Life) cards.

I love this range and was bummed that
it wasn't released as a  12x12
collection.

What colour is pomegranate?

That was my question when I looked
at this months White With 1 challenge.

The DT examples are awesome and show
a variety of colours so I took a peek at
Google and found this image to use as my
colour pallet.

A fave photo of mine of Miss Coco when
she was only a few months old.

Naturally I have included some gorgeous
goodies on here from D-Lish Scraps.
The http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/index.htmlflowers, sequins and bow above.

And below the mulberry butterfly
and pvc doily.
I've coloured the doily with a
bit of spray and ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

The Beautiful Miss Willow May

Willow May is the newest member
of our family.
She's 14 weeks old now and this photo
is the day we brought her home, 6 weeks ago.

She's such a cutie.

My page is my entry for
Criteria is a journalling theme
"the best things in life aren't things"

Plus this gorgeous sketch.

My journalling is hidden on the tag
I made that's behind the photo.
My journalling relates to the quote in
regards to my precious baby Willow.
Our fur babies are definitely one of the
best things in our life.
Our little treasures.

I spy some gorgeous Forget Me Nots from D-Lish Scraps.

A little bit of recycling here.
The pink tissue paper and the white
spotted tissue paper are both
packaging from the last couple of
bras I bought.
It's too cute to throw out.

Thanks so much for looking.

My first challenge done for June.

I really enjoyed doing some challenges last
month.  There were many
that I wanted to try but didn't have
the time, so I've made sure I started
early on Junes.

My first one is the 123 Challenge Blog.

colour, blue
word, together
technique, masking

I decided to get on board with this cotton
thing I've seen popping up on pages.
I can see it becoming addictive.

I have just finished another one which
hopefully I will have time to share tomorrow.

I also have to pages waiting for the backgrounds
to dry properly so I can finish them off.

Am very lucky we have a 3 day weekend.

All You Need is Love, another D-Lish share.

I am so happy with how this page has turned out.

I started with a piece of patterned paper.  Added some
sprays and some texture paste.
The layered on the D-Lish Scraps goodies.

The Scalloped Chipboard Overlay has been given a
coat of gesso and then sprayed and sprayed some more.
I got the marble effect by using heaps of spray and chasing
it around the shape with my heat gun.
When it was dry, I would just add a bit more.

These beautiful mulberry butterflies come in white.
I have sprayed a few of them in a few different colours and they
are so gorgeous.

The muslin is so soft and the colour so pretty.
I scrunch it up a little before gluing it to my pages
to give it some dimension.

I made the little curlicues with some Coloured Wire.
So easy to make.  Just twist around the end of pen or similar
object and as you pull it off the pen, strech it a little.
The little stretching gives it a gorgeous tapered look.
I have used a hot glue gun to stick these
ones in among the flowers.

I've made my flower clusters with  Vintage Roses

I finished my page off by adding some of the pretty

Thanks so much for looking and I hope
you've been inspired to make some pretty pages.

My June D-Lish Scraps Share

So I have a little obsession with Journal It's.
I seem to popping them on everything.

I popped eleven of them on this page.

I'm also a little in love with the coloured
bags that you get from the
D-Lish Scraps store.  They are so versatile.

On this page I have used them as my background and also
as little bags.

I started by cutting strips out of some Polka Dot
and Quaterfoil Rainbow bags.

Then I slipped some Journal It's underneath
the strips, like little tabs.

Lot's of Journal It's, some Kraft Sayings and some

Can never have too much of a good thing.

The Journal It's are also a perfect fit for the Bitty Bags.

I needed to use bright embellishments to match
the gorgeous colours of the bags.
The Pinkfresh Studio Colourblocks and Enamel
Brad Stickers were perfect for this.

And to finish it all off a Puffy Things stickers and a cute
little neon heart.

Thanks for stopping by.  I will be
back tomorrow with another share.
This time a girly page with lots of flowers
and pretties.
