Birthday Boy

Todays share is a little bittersweet for me.
It's my last time sharing all these gorgeous
D-Lish Scraps goodies as a Design Team Member.

It's been an awesome 6 months and I recommend
applying for this position to everyone when
the opportunity arises.

My final page is of my nephew Xander.
It was his and Rileys 1st birthday and their
Mummy made an Elmo cake.

I love these photos.

The base of my page stated with some colourful
Quaterfoil bags layered with some coloured
doilies.

Tucked around these are some Journal It's.  I've used a

I love colouring in my wood veneers.  I've used Wink of Stella
pens to colour this Wood Veneer Heart and
super cute Heart Cupcake.

The little cluster was topped off with a Birthday

The little cluster under the photos is made up with
a gorgeous red sequin bow.  My most fave thing ever and
now there's so many more colours in the store to chose from.
I again used a Wood Veneer Heart and a Birthday
Boy flair.  On top of these I've glued on
a Printed Owl Button.  Because I didn't think twine
would suit my cluster very well, I've placed 2 little
Enamel Dots over the button holes.  It just looks
like the little owlie has his own buttons.

and cut this is half.
I have tucked one half under the bottom of
the bags up here.

And tucked the other half under the corner with
the cupcake.

Thanks heaps to everyone for has
stopped by and looked at my creations.

It's been an awesome 6 months and I look forward
to still sharing the love in the D-Lish Scraps

Lots of layers

I've played with my mixed media goodies with this one today.
I have layered my page up with the gorgeous coloured doilies now in store.  I naturally had
to buy every colour and I don’t think I’ve scrapped a page without one since they
arrived.  Totally love them.
So here I have used black and dove grey and
also a gold foil doily.  I have layered
 these around some bitty bags.

I pulled out the sewing machine and used it to gather some gorgeous tulle across my page.  Across this I have used some
gold glitter washi tape and finished my
layering off with some coloured wire.

I started out my flower cluster with a black
Tutu Bloom.  A tip for flower clusters is to
start with the biggest flower and work you
way down to the smaller ones, putting them
on and tucking them under the larger
ones.  I removed the leaves from the
Pinwheel Blooms before I popped them
on my page.  I didn’t feel like the green
sat well with the page and tend to remove
the leaves on a lot of the projects I do.
Among the flowers I have poked some
of the new Berry Sprigs.   These are
super cute and I can see myself using
them a lot.  They’re gorgeous fillers
 for among flower clusters.

.

There's a few little flower sequins on the
page that came from a past Just Add
 Paper kit.

Thanks heaps for stopping by.
I have another D-Lish Scraps share
 for you all tomorrow.

Black With Two

This is my last share as a DT member

Another fabulous mood board this month.
Hot Pink and Yellow!!

Another of my gorgeous nieces in Grandads garden.

Usually when I add colour to my texture pastes, I
add sprays or paint this time I mixed a piece of Gelato
in with my Whipped Spackle and it turned out awesome.
Have done this again for another page I'm working on
and love the way the colour stays so vibrant.

No page would be quite the same without some
D-Lish Scraps goodies.  Here I've used a coloured doily,

I've used another one of Charms gorgeous hearts
on this page too as well as the yellow and white doilies.
Hope you can join us this month, the board is awesome,
the colours and awesome and the prize
is pretty awesome too.
Remember you no longer have to use the inspiration
word if you choose not to.
