Another one with my boy

I have spent sooooo much time lately making a baby album that i was busting to get stuck into something different.

My entry for Stuck! this month.

Loved doing this page.   There are so many tools and techniques I'm loving doing at the moment.  The colours are gorgeous too.

A few splatters with Dylusions and my little cork die cut paper dolls again....so cute ♥

Punches, lots of punches.

And some die cut words.

Inspired to do more now!

Dude you Rock my World

and he certainly does.
I've done a page for a challenge blog that I've just found called Sketches With A Twist.  OMG! What an awesome little paper folding thingy this is!  I totally ♥ it and know I will defiantly be using it again.

I've put a mix of things on this page.  I've again used an older photo. The base is my May kit from A Piece of Cake Designs, I'm a little behind with my kits, but I'm a little behind with everything.

I've also used my Honey Pot paper and Tim Holtz heart die again.  I love how this paper looks.

My little heart is from Charms Creations and I've inked the edges lightly with my new absolute fave Distress Ink, Peacock Feathers.

Enjoy!

Prima Sun Kiss for Passion4Paper

I have been really enjoying this long weekend in my studio (aka craft room but it has a new name just to annoy my favorite husband ♥).
So I thought I had better play catch up here and share the most recent projects I did for Passion4Paper so that I can share some more during the week.

I was lucky enough to get some beautiful Prima Sun Kiss goodies in my design kit but I couldn't make up my mind about what to do with them.  One of my sisters scrapbooked the other week for the first time, although I've been trying to convert others for ages ☺, and she asked what you use those little 6x6 pads for because who would scrapbook that small!  I was like, Oh!  More like, what can't you use them for.  So I went on to tell her all that is good about a 6x6 and then thought I would use the one from my DT kit to share a few things.
This page here I have used Prima Songbird as my background page.  I used Distress ink around the edge of the paper and also with my Crafters Workshop Cherry Blossom template.  Once I had the Shabby Shutters ink looking how I wanted it, I just inked up my finger with Spiced Marmalade and randomly inked small parts of my template.
All other paper on the page is using the 6x6 Prima Sun Kiss paper pad.

Have you ever used flowers on a vine?  The white flowers and leaves on my page are on a vine.  The thing I ♥ about these is that besides being gorgeous, they can be twisted any way you like on your page and half your flower work is already done for you.
The Cherry Lyn Designs doily has been cut out of the paper pad, inked around the edges and then cut in half.
These gorgeous chipboard pieces are from the same Prima range.

I used Lindys Stamp Gang Glory of the Seas Gold on the paper flowers with a small amount of embossing powder.  Distress ink has been used to colour the Prima resist canvas shapes.  The gorgeous bling that is a little bit hidden in this pic is a Jinda circle and is absolutely gorgeous.  The pics in the store and here do not do this justice.  There is definately more of these being added to my cart.

Before adhereing all to my page, I inked around the egdes of all paper with Distress Ink.
Then I have finished it off with a Kaisercraft resin flower and some Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee stamps, which I can't get enough of at the moment.  I stamped these on acetate with stazon ink and cut them out.  I love the way stamped acetate looks on a page.

My next project was a set of 6 cards and all embellishments on these have been made with the samepaper pad.

My seam binding has been misted with the Glory of the Seas Gold but is has tinges of blue/green in it because I didn't clean my mat the last time I used Dylusion Vibrant Turquoise, I like how it turned out though ☺

Card 2 ♥
Cherry Lyn Designs doily die
All the flowers on the cards have been die cut using Spellbinders Rose Creactions by Donna Salazar.  These are by far the most favourite of mine, flower dies ever ♥
This one has been finished off with Fairy Dust by Donna Salazar.  Click on the link to see a video with Donna showing you how to make these.

09 June 2012

Here's a quick share of the hearts that I made for the Passion 4 Paper booth at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo.
You will find Passion 4 Paper live at stand 83 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Bank the expo is open fromJune 9 - 11, 2012from 9am – 5pm daily.
This first heat has been made using the beautiful papers from the Bo Bunny Amrossia collection.  This collection of papers is really beautiful.  The Dream Come True sticker I have cut down with aSpellbinders die and mounted it on chipboard to give it a bit of dimension.  My birdie has been cut from a Sizzix die. The twine on my hearts is The Twinery Carribean. All my edges were inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink  .  I just love the colours of this heart ♥

With my 2nd heart, I've once again used the Donna Salazar Spellbinders Rose Creations but this time I've used some of Heidi Swapps Color Magic resist paper to make them.  Do you like the bright colours?  The background has been sprayed with Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise and the large flower and the Heidi Swapp banner have been sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Flat Fabio sprays.  I am so in ♥ with these sprays the Flat Fabios have no glimmer to them, just a solid colour and they are so nice and bright.  Gorgeous.

My last heart has been made with the same Prima collection made my cards with in my last post.  Frilly edge and flowers have been sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Glory of the Seas Gold. The 5 leaves I used all started out the same colour but I thought they looked a bit bland so I have sprayed 2 of them with Lindýs Stamp Gang Cadbury Mild Chocolate Brown and I love how they turned out.  I finished it off with my Pink Paislee  stamps and My Favorite Things Dienamics butterfly die.

Have an awesome last long weekend of 2012.
